I'm super excited to announce I was accepted to present two peer-reviewed papers at my first international conference! The International Conference on Embedded Education and Instruction of New Models of Library Service takes place in Beijing, China on November 15-17th 2017. The conference will be held in Capital Normal University to commemorate the 15th anniversary of establishing the University Network Library of Beijing. This is the 4th conference in the series of the International Conference on Library Cooperation and Resource Sharing.
The first paper I will present is titled "Digital marketing strategies in libraries" and explores various case-studies of successful marketing techniques. The second paper, "Colloquium series: a study in library faculty engagement" was a co-authored effort between myself and Jamie Saragossi and explores the evolution of our in-house library lecture series. Both papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. I'm so excited to share my research with international colleagues and experience a bit of what life is like in Beijing.
Stay tuned for links to the Conference Proceedings!
